National Volunteer Week 2022: Megan McLachlan

Megan McLachlan was connected with HEARTH by a former colleague, and she has been volunteering regularly since 2013. Megan is happy to help in any capacity, and has provided childcare, painted, gardened, and even served as a volunteer coordinator. One of her favorite memories is making artwork with the children as gifts for donors; one especially eager little boy couldn’t paint fast enough, he was having such a good time.

“HEARTH is such a good program, and so good for the community,” Megan says. “I love playing a small part in participants’ big journeys, and love celebrating their success stories.”

Thank you for your many years of support, Megan!
