from 8:00 AM to 11:59 PM
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, raising a family as a single parent today requires more time, energy & resources than ever before. Your donation made through the Pittsburgh Foundation will be matched up to $1000 from a pro-rated pool & help cover the cost of basic needs for HEARTH families.
Purses with a Purpose has been Postponed to a later date.
Purses with a Purpose takes place each December. Started in 2009 it has easily grown into one of our most popular events.
Thanks to the generous support from the Dunlap Family, our silent auction and brunch is held at the beautiful LeMont Restaurant overlooking the city of Pittsburgh.
The auction is one of a kind and hosts a variety of fun purse themed items as well as program that elevates the women living at HEARTH.

who we are
We know the challenges that parents face when trying to provide for their children.
We’ve been providing housing for families in need for over 26 years. We have access to the tools and resources necessary to help you achieve your goals.
Raising a family today requires more time, energy, and resources than ever before
At HEARTH, we know the challenges that parents face when trying to provide for their children. Many of us are parents, we want to be the support system that will help you through this challenging time.
A new home means a new start.
We believe in housing first. A new home means a new start, the beginning of a life with safety, security and stability as a foundation. What grows from there is a restoration of dignity and hope for the future. Families and communities begin to thrive, bringing up a new generation of healthy, educated, and inspired leaders for their community.
