Hops for HEARTH

Friday, April 1, 2022

Hops for HEARTH combines craft beer and change to make a difference.

Hops for HEARTH was started in 2010 by HEARTH’s Young Professionals Board. This dedicated team of young people saw the craft beer boom as it was unfolding in Western Pennsylvania. Over the past 10+ years, this event has transformed into one of the best local craft beer events in Pittsburgh. Our partnership with many of the local breweries and distributors is what makes our event so unique. The craft beer world is known for their generous community-minded spirit and their genuine care for our families is unsurpassed. Learn more about this event and how to get involved here.

Tees & Traps is two events in one day. Join us for a day on the course with 18 holes of golf or for the afternoon trap shooting at the historic Longue Vue Club.

HEARTH’s Golf outing was our first ever fundraising event! This historic first took place in 1995 the year we opened our doors and has continued to flourish ever since. In 2017 we added in a traps event, which has brought in more individuals dedicated to lifting our families up. Couple this with a delicious lunch and dinner and you’ve got the perfect Summer day!

Art of Wine and Food Fundraiser HEARTH

2021’s Art of Wine & Food

The Art of Wine & Food began in 2002 and has since grown to be our largest event. Presented by Allegheny Financial Group and Associates in Ophthalmology, this year’s fundraising event will feature tastings of exclusive wines not available in Pennsylvania stores, sampling heavy hors d’oeuvres from the Pittsburgh field club, door prizes, and much more, all while you support our families as they achieve economic mobility.

Purses with a Purpose

Purses with a Purpose takes place each December. Started in 2009 it has easily grown into one of our most popular events. Thanks to the generous support from the Dunlap Family, our silent auction and brunch is held at the beautiful LeMont Restaurant overlooking the city of Pittsburgh. The auction is one of a kind and hosts a variety of fun purse themed items as well as program that elevates the women living at HEARTH.
