Alexis Wyels loves spending time with HEARTH families, and she knows how important it is for parents to have time away from their kids so they can focus on their own needs. She used to drive past HEARTH and when she found out how the organization supports caregivers and their children, she knew she wanted to be a part of their mission. “I get to play with kids, which is so fun,” she says about her work at HEARTH. Alexis has especially enjoyed seeing the kids get so excited on their birthdays, being fêted by Beverly’s Birthdays. “Every child deserves those celebrations and more. It warms your heart.”
