By Christy Pietryga, CEO of HEARTH
I could not be more excited to celebrate this incredible milestone with you—HEARTH’s 30th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, November 7th at The Circuit Center.
For three decades, HEARTH has been a safe place to call home for mothers and children experiencing homelessness and domestic violence. As we reflect on 30 years of hope, healing, and transformation, this celebration will be a true reflection of the heart of HEARTH—our families, founders, partners, and community who made this journey possible.
On November 7th:
Guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening featuring: Incredible food from The Fluted Mushroom, live music by The Alt Rocks, and awards honoring our community partners, founders, and HEARTH families, whose stories inspire us every day.
We are especially grateful to our Presenting Sponsor, Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh, for their steadfast partnership and commitment to creating housing opportunities that strengthen families and communities.
Honoring Our Founders
This evening is as much about looking back as it is about looking forward. We’ll take time to honor HEARTH’s founders, whose vision and determination turned an idea into a lifeline for hundreds of families. Guests will also enjoy a special video featuring the Founders themselves, sharing the inspiring story of how HEARTH began. Their compassion built the foundation that continues to change lives today—and will continue to for generations to come.
A Journey Through Time
One of the highlights of the evening will be our 30-Year Timeline Display, showcasing decades of milestones, memories, newspaper clippings, and photos that tell the story of HEARTH’s growth from an idea to a leading force in providing safe, affordable housing for families.
As I look at how far we’ve come—and the bright future ahead—I am filled with immense gratitude. This celebration is more than an event; it’s a tribute to everyone who has walked alongside HEARTH over the past 30 years.
So, here’s to 30 years of safety, stability, and strength—and to the next 30 years of making sure every mother and child has a safe place to call home.
✨ Cheers to 30 Years! ✨
