Will We See You At HATS OFF! for HEARTH?

HEARTH’s Monthly Gratitude

Each August, we’re honored by the opportunity to participate in The Pittsburgh Foundation’s #ONESDAY Giving Campaign. We’re thrilled to share that we raised$40,973 earlier this month. These funds will go directly towards providing a wide range of services to those struggling to care for their families. Thank you to all who donated! Your gifts will help our program participants transition from surviving to thriving. Weren’t able to participate in #ONEDAY? You can still donate to HEARTH using the button below. Your investment will change futures one family at a time.

HATS OFF! for HEARTH

HEARTH’s HATS OFF event will take place Thursday, October 20th from 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at The August Wilson African American Cultural Center.

The event provides guests with a unique and fun opportunity to taste a variety of the world’s most exclusive wines, paired with sweet and savory offerings. Wine, food, and live music will fill every corner of the center as we support HEARTH’s mission.

If you’re anything like us, you’re counting down until the first day of the school year. HEARTH’s halls are filled with back-to-school energy.

Did you know that with every back-to-school item you purchase on Amazon you can donate a percentage of your order to HEARTH at no extra cost? It’s truly a simple and easy way to make a meaningful impact on our families.

Stories of Change

Help Our Families Find A Ride

Lack of transport and maintaining safe transport can be a huge barrier to our participants, to help this we are launching a partnership with Drive On 412 and NHCO. As well as providing maintenance support and seminars, Drive On 412 will take donated cars, ensure they are fully road worthy and reliable, and donate them back to HEARTH residents who do not own a car. Here’s where you can help! Do you, your friends, family or colleagues have a car that would be suitable for donation?

Drive On 412 will handle the paperwork, collection, etc. and you will have made a huge impact on one of our families. If you think you can help, contact Jenny at 412-366-9801 x 3917 or jshahinian@hearthpgh.org.
