Summer Is Already Halfway Done?! HEARTH’s End-Of-Summer Plans

Letter From Our CEO

We have so much to celebrate this year, but it wouldn’t be possible without supporters like you. Change is inevitable. Transformation is challenging. The outcome is invaluable.

Thank you for choosing to continue to support the mission of HEARTH, while the economic climate has made it challenging to choose GIVING. We are grateful to each of our donors, corporate sponsors, partners, and volunteers.

Thank you for helping us to continue to prioritize the heartwork!

Stay safe & optimistic,
Marisa C. Williams, CEO

HEARTH’s Monthly Gratitude

This month, we’re expressing our gratitude to the Deloitte employees who recently spent their Annual Impact Day cleaning, painting, and planting at our facilities!

Impact Day is Deloitte’s annual day of service that celebrates their year-round commitment to collectively making an #ImpactThatMatters in the communities where employees live and work.

“I am truly inspired by the families at HEARTH. They are all examples of resilience, strength, and love. I volunteer at HEARTH because they remind me that we can all overcome our obstacles with love and support.” Deloitte Volunteer

“Spending the day at Hearth was truly inspiring. To see the facility, but more importantly, hear about the impact that Hearth is making on people’s lives was really uplifting. Spending the day there created a moment that mattered for me as I could better appreciate how they are changing lives!” Deloitte Volunteer

Help Our Families Find a Ride

Lack of transport and maintaining safe transport can be a huge barrier to our participants, to help this we are launching a partnership with Drive On 412 and NHCO.

As well as providing maintenance support and seminars, Drive On 412 will take donated cars, ensure they are fully road worthy and reliable, and donate them back to HEARTH residents who do not own a car.

Here’s where you can help! Do you, your friends, family or colleagues have a car that would be suitable for donation?

Drive On 412 will handle the paperwork, collection, etc. and you will have made a huge impact on one of our families. If you think you can help, contact Harriet at hriley@hearthpgh.org or call 412-953-2188.

Great Time On The Green

Thank you to all of our Target Homelessness for HEARTH: Tees & Traps sponsors and attendees! Because of your generosity, we raised over $54,000 for HEARTH families! Here are just a few photos from the day.
