Recently, HEARTH had the immense pleasure of welcoming a large group of enthusiastic volunteers from Aon, who dedicated their time and energy to transform our Community Room space. This room is not just a physical space; it’s a haven where our families can gather, children can play, and we can provide vital childcare and engagement activities. Thanks to the incredible efforts of the Aon team, this space has been revitalized to better serve our families’ needs.
A Revitalized Community Room
The project focused on revamping our Community Room to make it more conducive to both childcare and family engagement. The Aon volunteers rolled up their sleeves and helped us build new IKEA furniture, organize the room, and create a more welcoming and functional environment. The transformation has been nothing short of amazing. The children and families have been overjoyed with the new setup, and the room now feels more like a vibrant, supportive community hub.
Beyond the Community Room: Additional Contributions
The generosity of the Aon team didn’t stop at the Community Room. They also donated a variety of outdoor games and activities for the children, providing more opportunities for fun and engagement outside. In addition, they took the initiative to stock our Food Pantry with fresh, nutritious foods, ensuring that our families have access to quality food options. They also collected a range of items for our HEARTH Store, where families can obtain essential goods to support their journey towards independence.
